Sergey Kalyakin
Sergey Kalyakin ((ベラルーシ語:Каля́кін Сярге́й); b. June 16, 1952 in Minsk) is a politician, leader of the Belarusian Left Party "A Just World" (till 2009 - the Party of Communists of Belarus).〔(Kalyakin and Haidukevich nominating groups submit documents to CEC )〕
The nephew of Mikalay Dzyemyantsyey, Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the Byelorussian SSR.
In 1977 he graduated from the Minsk Radio Engineering Institute, radio engineer qualification. In 1992 he received a diploma of political scientist at the Belarusian State University.〔http://pdf.kamunikat.org/download.php?item=1809-5.pdf〕 He was a member of the CPSU since 1977. In 1991, he joined the newly formed Communist Party of Belarus.〔(Kalyakin reelected chairman of Spravedlivy Mir party )〕
Kalyakin was a candidate for presidency in Belarus in 2001〔(For a post of the President of Belarus with Lukashenko will compete left candidate )〕 and one of the potential candidates for the presidency in 2006 (after the defeat in the primaries became the head of the electoral headquarters of Milinkevich〔(Belarus jails opposition leader, draws international outcry )〕). In 2009, he was elected chairman of the Belarusian Left Party "A Just World".
Kalyakin runs as a candidate in the Belarusian presidential election of 2015.〔(Election 2015. Three potential presidential candidates pass 100,000 signature mark )〕
